Three rebuilds.
Three different problems.
These are concept projects: self-initiated redesigns of three real Winnipeg-area businesses. A commercial landscaping and concrete company, a family-run fire protection inspection firm, and a 15-year-old residential roofing contractor. I rebuilt their sites as portfolio studies, not paid engagements, and removed the original branding so the original companies aren't tied to my portfolio choices.
Real client work will replace these as it ships. Happy to share the originals privately if you'd like to see the before and after. Just ask.
WPG Parking Lot Services Redesign
A thirty-year-old commercial property care business whose Squarespace site read like a generic contractor template, burying their seasonal expertise behind three interchangeable service cards.
A seasons-first architecture that leads with parking lot expertise year-round, then lets each service earn its own dedicated space.
Fire Protection Company Redesign
A family-run inspection business with 20+ years of Manitoba experience, trapped behind a Wix site with duplicated content blocks, inconsistent company facts, and CTAs that didn't match the seriousness of life-safety compliance work.
A redesign centered on trust signals (certifications, licensing, and the 'we guide you through city violations' angle), paired with a hierarchy that lets commercial property managers find what they need in one scroll.
WPG Roofing Redesign
A 15-year-old Winnipeg roofing company with strong credentials and genuinely honest copy, trapped inside a Weebly template held together with HTML tables, where trust signals floated as unstyled acronyms and service cards literally began with the word 'Picture.'
Keep every credibility signal the client already had (the insurance, the certifications, the 15-year reputation, the honest-contractor voice) and rebuild the frame around them so the credentials actually register.
